What happens during a consultation?

The consultation is when the couple and I finalize the musical selections for the wedding. If you already have ideas of what pieces you’d like, we can talk about how the music fits into the flow of the ceremony. If you’d like some ideas, I can play through some pieces or give you some suggestions. The consultation is also a chance for you to hear what the music would sound like at the wedding. The consultation is usually half an hour to an hour long, and it can be done over the phone, through e-mail, or in person at my home in Vancouver. If you already have ideas about what music you’d like, a consultation may not be necessary.
